Objects updates, murderlog & more22/Mar
Today, we’re introducing a series of new innovative updates, thanks largely to our community.
Objects
One can now choose what is the maximum number of items, one is allowed to posses (by grade). Objects already in possession before the setting of this option will not be deleted.
Murderlog
The cemetery has been expanded and renamed ‘murderlog’. Players who have been killed will now remain on this list, even when they are raised back to life. The icons and the moment of coming ‘back to life’ show if a murdered player is alive again or not.
Statistics
The statistics page has been expanded. From now on, with the statistics update in your possession, the number of prisoners that have escaped, the number of hookers in possession and the number of active playing hours can be shown in statistics.
Double damage!
With the exchange office upgrade in your possession, from now on, you can enable an extra option: double damage for five minutes! By purchasing this option, a player can damage someone double. Average phone credits price: 500 pieces per 5 minutes.
Minichat en chatbox
The activated minichat/chatbox now offers the possibility of setting how many lines a chat has to be.
Casino bankrupt
From now on, it’s possible to select whether the new casino owner will receive 1 million on the casino bank or not.
Search option owners forum
The forum owner’s search option has been expanded and the search algorithm was adapted as well. Now, it's easier to find what you need.
UPDATES8/Mar
Due to a number of reasons including server maintenance, we didn’t release any updates recently. Today, it is time again to introduce a new list of updates.
New: Bank management (25 MC)
At a price of 25 Mafia Coins, we offer you the new bank management option. With this option, you can now set the following:
• The method to calculate interest (the bank balance at midnight, the average bank balance over the last 24 hours, and more)
• A maximum amount over which interest can be earned (for instance a maximum bank balance of $10.000.000)
• The number of free ‘bank actions’ a player has per day.
Update: Wheel of fortune (50 MC)
If you are in possession of the ‘pimped’ wheel of fortune, you will receive this update automatically. Otherwise, you can of course still purchase the update.
With this update, you have the opportunity to set the prizes that can be won with the wheel of fortune, alongside the choice for one of the three skins.
Update: Set of icons (50 MC)
Once you are in possession of this new set of icons, you have the opportunity to combine icons and/or upload your own icons!
Detective price
Finally, from now on the detective price is adjustable (by default $500.000, adjustable $50.000 - $5.000.000)
Maintenance on our servers1/Mar
The last two weeks we had alot of DDOS attacks. Every day we received serveral DDOS attacks, which causes downtime for our entire network. Our hosting company is blocking most of these attacks. Yesterday there was a big attack on one of our servers, our hosting company was not able to stop this attack. That is why we started to look for a solution.
In the next coming days we are completely changing our server setting. This can cause some downtime but we are trying to avoid this. We are 100% sure that we can find a good solution together with our hosting company to avoid further attacks.
We want to apologize for these problems. We are doing our best to solve this as fast as possible.
The payments from january 2011 are also processed by our bank. You should have the money within 5 working days.
