More extensive game management + some game adjustments!23/Oct
Over de past week, we solved some problems with the design of various layouts. Today, we also launch some updates for game owners. These updates enable you to manage your game even more thoroughly:
Ingame referrals
Until now, it was sometimes unclear why a referral was rejected. Therefore, the following sentence was added to the referral page: “Please note that a referral that plays from the same IP address is automatically rejected”.
From now on, game owners have access to an overview of the latest referrals. Here you can still accept any earlier rejected referrals.
Vacation overview
Is the vacation update active in your game? In that case you, as game owner, have now access to a holiday overview. Here you can see who is on vacation. You also have the possibility to cancel these members’ vacation, for example when they are back sooner than expected.
Unused crew ranks
Not using all crew ranks in your game? In that case, you now have the possibility to leave the unused fields blank in the “Crew options” page. These crew ranks will no longer be displayed in your game. This is only possible for unused ranks.
Happy hour
The maximum limit for happy hour was raised. From now on, you have the possibility to allocate up to 35% extra credits to credit orders placed during happy hour.
Active players
The limit for the active players reward was raised too. In the past, you could allocate a maximum of 20 credits; from now on you have the possibility to reward active players with up to 50 credits per day.
Furthermore, we implemented some smaller game adjustments.
Word filter
The word filter now also applies to the family conference room
Unread messages
Do you have unread messages? From now on, these are also displayed in the game navigation bar. For example: “Messages (2)”.
Car market place
Sometimes, it was unclear which cars you had for sale on the market place. Furthermore, the cars could be hard to find again, in case you wanted to return them in your garage. As of today, your own cars will be displayed at the top of the market place page.

The referral system for game owners didn’t always work properly. These problems have now been solved, and the mafia points that some players were still entitled to, were added where necessary.
Furthermore, we just finished implementing some game adjustments. Below, you can find an overview of these updates.
Dirty pope / Junky pope
Up to now, you’d always receive exactly 1 million in cash from the pope. Starting today, the amount you receive will be randomly distributed between $ 100.000 and $ 5.000.000! With some luck, the pope will even have a surprise for you!
Working
In the past, you had the possibility to work 1 time during each rank. This has been changed: from now on, you can work once a week. Your hourly wage stays dependent on your rank ($ 1,200 to $ 20,400 per hour), and will be paid out at the end of your working period. It is now also possible for you to retire early. However, you will not get paid and you still have to wait one week before you can work again.
Payments: August1/Oct
All the payments for the earnings of August has been transfered. It can take up to 5 working days before you have the money on your bank account.
